Welcome to England's East Midlands European Office

The East Midlands European Office (EMEO) is a partnership office which aims to help the region get the most from EU membership and to help the East Midlands fulfil its aim of becoming a top European region.

We:

•    Promote partners’ interests;
•    Create opportunities;
•    Engage with EU decision-makers; and
•    Support the region’s activities in Europe.

The Office represents a variety of stakeholders, including:

•    Strategic regional bodies;
•    Local government; and
•    Universities.

EMEO acts as an interface between these partners, European institutions and the multitude of Brussels-based interest groups, European regions and networks.

EMEO also plays a role in making valuable connections
within the East Midlands.
