The Commission has delayed its proposals on cross-border healthcare provision although EMEO will follow the debate as it continues. The Commission will also present proposals on patient safety and quality of services, as well as infections associated with healthcare.

EMEO will continue to engage within the ENRICH (European Local and Regional Health Authorities Network) and EUREGHA (European Regional and Local Health Authorities Platform) regional health networks on policy and project cooperation as well as funding opportunities within the EU Public Health Programme.
